Pot 3: Shakhtar Donetsk, Sevilla, Lyon, Dynamo Kyiv, Olympiacos, CSKA Moskva, Galatasaray, Roma
Pot 4: BATE Borisov, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Wolfsburg, Dinamo Zagreb, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Gent, Malmö, Astana
How do you determine these pots?
Pot 1 consists of the league champions of the highest-ranked UEFA nations.
Pot 2 are the teams that have accumulated high coefficient over he past few years, and yes Manchester United are there despite them being absent last year because they had been doing well in the Champions League bar last year’s absence.
Each team from each pot will be placed in each group.
No club can play a side from their association and no Russian team can play a club from Ukraine.
